The Board normally meets at the Library on the second Tuesday of every month at 6:30 PM (except for August and December)

Halifax residents interested in serving on the Board of Trustees should call the Library at 781-293-2271 or view the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners Trustees Handbook.  This is an elected position. In the case of a vacancy on the Board, the Trustees and Selectmen may jointly appoint a Trustee. That appointment will expire with the next town election in May. Residents with questions should contact the Board of Selectmen's office at 781-294-1316.
