Summer in Massachusetts

Events & Activities- Eastern Massachusetts               Links for Armchair Travelers

Then followed that beautiful season... Summer....
Filled was the air with a dreamy and magical light; and the landscape
Lay as if new created in all the freshness of childhood.
~Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

"No summer ever came back, and no two summers ever were alike. Times change, and people change; and if our hearts do not change as readily, so much the worse for us."
— Nathaniel Hawthorne

To see the Summer Sky
Is Poetry, though never in a Book it lie--
True Poems flee --
--Dickinson Emily

Do what we can, summer will have its flies.  ~Ralph Waldo Emerson
